Dr. Matthew Medeiros is a highly skilled and dedicated physical therapist with a strong passion for performance, mobility, and athletic excellence. A 2010 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where he balanced rigorous academics with fitness, Dr. Medeiros furthered his education by earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Hartford in 2013.
In 2022, Dr. Medeiros achieved board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), reflecting his expertise in sports injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. His background as a collegiate athlete and active competitor in Olympic weightlifting uniquely positions him to understand the demands and challenges faced by athletes of all levels.

Where are you located? “I was born in South Africa and moved as a teenager to the midwest, then California, and now I’m in between Argentina and the US. I have practiced mainly in outpatient orthopaedics and balance settings. I started DJ-ing during the pandemic and have now played in various cities across the US, Mexico, The Bahamas, Argentina, and Canada.”
Hobbies: “Hobbies include stand up paddle boarding, photography, virtual DJing and fitness classes on twitch, and wine tasting.”
